With this mixture you can conjure up a delicious buttercream. This is suitable for filling and smearing your cake. Or as a topping for your cupcakes. The mixture already has a vanilla flavor, but it can also be combined with other flavors. If you would like to color the buttercream, you are welcome to do so as well. This is where food coloring comes in.

Preparation:

The ingredients must be at room temperature. For one serving: Add 125ml of water to 125g of the mixture in a bowl and beat with a whisk. Then let the mixture sit at room temperature for at least an hour. Beat 150g unsalted (cream) butter for about 5 minutes until creamy. Then add some of the mixture to the butter and mix. Then add the remaining part. Once all the mixture has been added, beat until smooth (about 10 minutes) and buttercream. One serving of buttercream is enough to fill and cover an 8" cake or about 12 cupcakes.
